*If your test shows a negative and you are still suspicious, take another test in three to five days.
* Only take a test if you have had sex. Not if you have sat on a toilet a boy has sat on before you…
*If you do not know how babies are made, continue playing with your Barbie for another 10 years.
*If you are 13 or 14 or 15 and do not know how to tell your parents, practice before you get pregnant by telling them you are sexually active. Carefully observe their reaction. It could be a good indicator of what it will be.
*Sexually active means you ‘do it’, or ‘have sex’, which means his penis has entered your vagina.
*Observe means ‘take note’
*C ummed is not a word. The technical word for this is ‘ejaculation’
*The earliest you can take a home pregnancy test is generally 14 days after you have had sex. Which is when your period is generally due.
*We are not pee sticks. They can generally be found at a pharmacy near you!
*You do not get the symptoms of needing to pee, nausea, cravings, heartburn or enlarged stomach the day or week after you had sex. You cannot feel a baby moving or kicking before 16wks (there are some exceptions here, like multiple pregnancy or subsequent pregnancies)
*You cannot tell if it is more than 1 baby from the ‘brightness’ of the control line on the home pregnancy test.
*This also means you cannot tell if it is a boy or a girl from the ‘brightness’ of the test.
